Senior Business Analyst (Adobe Analytics/Remote))

This is a fully remote role that can be located anywhere in the U.S. with a preference for Central or Eastern time zone The Senior Business Analyst is a member of the Business Intelligence team within the Health Learning Research and Practice (HLRP) division of Wolters Kluwer. This individual will be focused on managing Product Analytics both implementation and ongoing insights and will work across product, sales and publishing to help us set KPIs, manage data capture implementation, lead the production of dashboards, do deep dives to create actionable insights, help use data assets to inform future product enhancements, and to better inform the journey customers take when using our products. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills in Adobe Analytics, as well as the ability to translate business needs and requirements into product analytics implementations. Excellent communication and storytelling skills are required, along with strong critical thinking skills, ability to prioritize and project manage, ability to collaborate, and, most of all, curiosity and passion for driving results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Gain an in-depth knowledge of a client's website architecture, online business model, and online marketing strategy Support customer discovery sessions and help guide client's business requirements and key performance indicators Design customized solutions and technical tag implementation strategies Generate customized web analytic collection code and assist with its implementation and deployment Develop Adobe test & target campaigns for site optimization Develop and maintain re-usable code artifacts that can support the implementation/realization of the Architecture design. Measurement strategy: ability to define KPIs mapped to business results, and align with stakeholders Data capture: define requirements, manage complex tasks, prioritize resources, QA, execute, and communicate back to stakeholders. Produce dashboards: Manage self-serve function of analytics tools. Be able to explain content of dashboards to stakeholders so that they can interpret data on their own and develop their own hypotheses. Dashboards could be built in Adobe Analytics, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI. Produce deep dives with insights, recommendations and hypotheses: Become an expert in our business, our products, and our data to help us understand how we are performing and how we can do better. Use data to tell a compelling story and influence us to act to improve results and inform product development. Mentor junior analysts: Scale your expertise by coaching and training junior analysts to produce dashboards and deep dives. Manage vendors: Adobe Analytics Build trust with stakeholders across the organization become our marketing, customer, and product usage data expert. Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Math, or Science. 5-7 years' work experience in product analytics. Expertise in Adobe Analytics Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (Analytics, Target, Audience Manager and/or Campaign), background in Adobe Experience Platform (Customer Journey Analytics, Real-time CDP and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer) or comparable products related to personalization, analytics, CDP/DMPs, and/or campaign management. Previous experience working with Adobe Analytics or similar tools, tag management systems and data layers Experience working in web development or a related field. Intermediate-to-advanced JavaScript skills Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) Understanding of online marketing, HTML and web protocols Excellent communication skills required you must be able to help laypeople understand what data means, why it is important, and what to do about it without the use of technical jargon. Excellent critical thinking skills required you must be able to anticipate what questions your stakeholders will have, and have an answer ready. Creativity is required you must be able to set a vision for our product analytics function and for how data can be used in the broader organization. You must also be able to come up with creative solutions to day to day problems. Project management required you must be able to set deadlines, manage risk, communicate to stakeholders, and help your team solve problems/remove blockers.
