Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team. This is a remote position from anywhere in the US. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scrum Masters are servant leaders and coaches for an Agile Team. They help educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and SAFe, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is being followed. They also help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. The Scrum Master role is taken by a team member whose primary responsibility is assisting the self-organizing, self-managing team to achieve its goals. Scrum Masters do this by teaching and coaching team practices, implementing and supporting Agile principles and practices, identifying and eliminating impediments, and facilitating flow + Serve as Scrum Master and team coach for squads/teams in a program/portfolio + Responsible for the continuous improvement of Agile practices in an Agile program. + Identify and provide trainings to promote Agile maturity + Facilitate the core scrum ceremonies and best practices (Planning, Retrospective, Refinement, Review/Demo) + Facilitate the discussions of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms + Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Mural and Whiteboard for planning and tracking work performed by teams Basic Qualifications: + A minimum of five plus (5+) years of related experience + Scrum Master Certification, preferably SAFE Scrum Master certification + Experience serving in a Scrum Master role for Legacy Systems undergoing modernization and eventually being replaced + Bachelor's degree is required Clearance Requirements: + Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability Physical Requirements: + Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time. + Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer. + Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer. + Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc. + Must be able to deliver presentations as needed. + Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; IT service requests; work orders; etc. The projected compensation range for this position is $79,200-$92,290. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
