Regional SBO Account Manager

Regional SBO Account Manager (West)

Reporting to the National Director of Regional and SBO Partnerships, the Regional Partner Account Manager, will play a key role in developing, growing and maintaining existing partnerships within a defined territory; with the primary objective of delivering value to those partners helping them win business in an effort to receive leads in return.

You will be measured by your ability to generate revenue opportunities while managing multiple relationships concurrently. This will be done through a systematic approach to account management, using your creative juices, servicing these relationships and earning the trust of the stakeholders that provide us those opportunities.

What you get to do every day

  • Manage multiple partner relationships both internally and externally in a high pace environment. You are viewed as the driver, the air support and liaison between the Regional Director, the Partner Account Manager and the external partner.
  • Continually seek opportunities with these partners to increase revenue by up-selling additional partnership offerings through coaching on qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Create a regular cadence of account contact with the assigned book of partner accounts, its stakeholders and executive team to drive strategic initiatives, and measure value of partnership.
  • Define reporting, regional KPIs and success metrics for the West region. Driving measured success with the PAMs owning the relationships.
  • Implement streamlined partner processes and ensure smooth day-to-day communication and feedback.
  • Develop promotions, attend partner events and devise incentives to protect and grow existing revenue streams.
  • Meet/exceed monthly PRL’s through closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities within assigned Regional & SBO partners.
  • Take ownership of revenue share for SBO partner and conduct business reviews leveraging revenue share to help grow the partnership
  • Partner with ongoing internal service teams to deliver high quality visibility to our partner client.
  • Bring subject matter experts from the organization into client relationships as needed to address specific issues, projects and integrations.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as the primary escalation point for any partner issues that arise.
  • Maintain documentation in Salesforce regarding client/partner activity for dedicated book of accounts.
  • Participate with and coordinate with other departments including, marketing, implementation, engineering and finance regarding relevant partner specific topics.
  • Travel within the region and nationally to sales conferences, trade shows, or partnership meetings.

What you will accomplish

  • You get to be a part of something special by building a partnership arm of the business focused on regionally field based payroll / HCM organizations and SBO’s from the ground up.
  • You will incrementally drive referral growth 10X within existing relationships. This place is a rocketship, so buckle up!
  • You will have strong knowledge and understanding of the organization’s products, services, customers, competitors; establishing HI as the preferred partner
  • Partner internally with partner marketing to create and execute meaningful collateral and partner promotions and presentations
  • Drive education and learning for the PAM org on how to work with regional and local partners most effectively
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive relationships forward.

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience in the Retirement Services / HCM / Payroll Industry.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Experience building relationships with CPA’s, payroll companies, HR consultants and
    benefit brokers.

  • CRM experience (particularly Salesforce)

  • A team player and big picture thinking mentality

Compensation – The on-target earnings (OTE) range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $140,000 – $150,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
