R%26D Senior Analyst - Remote

As a senior research and development analyst on the Commercial Lines team, youll be on the front lines of product development supporting our commercial auto product while developing the next generation product. Youll analyze company-wide product performance and resolve national policy issues affecting our product. This is an exciting new position that will assist with crafting our regulatory support strategy for commercial auto. Remote work allowed.

Must-have qualifications

  • PhD in quantitative field of study
  • Instead of the above, a master's degree in quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience
  • Instead of the above, a bachelor's degree in quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analysis experience in a product, pricing or actuarial role in property and casualty insurance

Preferred skills

  • Develop predictive data models using statistical, mathematical or data mining methods
  • Strong programming skills using software such as SAS or R
  • Prior insurance regulatory support, including coordination of GLM questionnaire
  • Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including V-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros
  • Knowledge of predictive data models using statistical, mathematical or data mining methods

Compensation

  • $82,400 - $109,900/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
