QA Engineer

At Invisible Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the superior quality of our software products. Your collaboration with our engineering and product teams will be vital as you understand requirements, create test plans, and manually verify our software to ensure both its functional proficiency and its intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Prioritize and organize testing activities for efficiency.
  • Execute detailed manual functional testing of both new and existing features.
  • Scrutinize the product’s user interface and gauge the overall user experience, ensuring its alignment with top-notch UX principles.
  • Detect, diligently document, and track any software bugs.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to ascertain that resolutions align with user expectations.
  • Engage in product design assessments, offering insights on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or possible challenges.
  • Remain abreast of the latest in testing tools and strategies.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer or a related role.
  • Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Practical experience with white box and black box testing.
  • An innate understanding of user experience principles, coupled with the skill to identify and communicate issues from a user’s standpoint.
  • Exceptional problem-solving acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Stellar communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and regression testing is advantageous.
  • Bonus: Experience in writing automated tests using Python or Typescript with Selenium.

Working Schedule

  • The candidate should be available between 10am to 3pm EDT from Monday to Friday.

Compensation:

  • 2023: $25K-$35K per year
  • Paid Time Off
  • We work 100% remotely. Our team is distributed all over the world.
  • This is a Full-time Position so we expect you to be available to work 40 hours per week and be available between 10 AM ET to 3 PM ET.
