Boutique intellectual property law firm has an immediate opening for a part-time Paralegal! This part-time paralegal will support one attorney who is preparing an IP litigation case for trial.

As a Paralegal with this firm, you’ll be responsible for trail preparation including compiling binders and exhibits, drafting various legal documents, and e-filing in Federal court. This is a part-time position, about 50 hours per month, with a flexible schedule meaning work can be completed during or outside of standard business hours.

This position is 100% remote so paralegals from around the US are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of paralegal experience, including significant IP litigation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of legal documents

• Contribute actively in trial preparation, ensuring all necessary documents are ready and accurate

• Manage and organize large volumes of documents, ensuring they are properly stored and easily accessible for future reference

• Support in drafting legal documents, ensuring they are up to standard and ready for submission

• Handle the process of Federal court filing, ensuring all documents are submitted within the stipulated deadlines

• Ensure compliance with Federal court procedures and regulations at all times

• Assist in the preparation of depositions as needed

• Projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal secretary capacity

• Experience in IP Litigation is required for consideration

• Must have trial preparation experience

• Demonstrated understanding of Federal court e-filing procedures

• Ability to commit to 50 hours per month on a remote basis
