The Operations Project Manager at GuidePoint Security LLC (‘GuidePoint’) is responsible for end-to-end project life cycle management for internal projects supporting business operations. This role will report directly to the Sr VP of Operations and will coordinate with teams across GuidePoint to successfully manage projects within the defined scope, timelines, and budget. The Operations Project Manager is expected to work independently with minimal supervision over daily activities and to provide clear communication to stakeholders on project status, timelines, decisions, and escalations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Efficient and effective management of multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, from initiation to deployment.
    • Primary point of contact throughout each project, ensuring regular and timely communications to all key stakeholders.
    • Preparation of project plans for all project phases with the appropriate level of detail.
    • Manage day-to-day activities and resources on active projects while working closely with engagement leads.
    • Provides status reports on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, and escalates issues appropriately.
    • Manage project issues and risks to resolution.
    • Maintain understanding of interdependencies between departments, systems, internal processes, and business objectives.
    • Plan and manage resources ensuring all projects meet scope and budget expectations.
    • Monitor, track, and control open action items, issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
    • Develop and deliver requirements documentation, progress reports, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects follow established quality standards where applicable.
    • Create and maintain project management methodology and process documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a consulting services role or similar IT Project Management structure.
    • Experience with Agile methodology.
    • Advanced computer skills with Mac and Google application experience preferred.
    • Experience utilizing remote teleconferencing tools.
    • Standard industry certifications are preferred.
    • Preferred experience in JIRA, Smartsheet, Certinia, and Salesforce.
    • Advanced project management skills, with demonstrated ability to evaluate project objectives and scope, lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders, schedule resources, and manage timeline and budget to plan.
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and/or teams simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated successful leadership of personnel and technical projects, including running planning meetings, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
    • Excellent communication skills that include the ability to communicate with anyone from a technical resource to the highest level of management.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems, perform complex tasks and prioritize.
