Position Purpose: Manage the Application Development department including staff decisions, day to day operations, professional development, and discipline. Manage concurrent application development efforts, provide guidance to external customers through the identification and resolution of technical needs and is responsible for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, and all other departmental policies and procedures. • Oversee the software development lifecycle for all departmental projects including requirements definition, design, specification, development, testing, implementation and maintenance. • Manage application development personnel including employee coaching, professional development, and goal setting. • Allocate departmental resources to responsively deliver business value to internal and external customers through enhancement of core applications and ensure department deliverables are completed on time and on budget. • Member of the ITS leadership team and participate in decisions impacting the direction of the ITS organization and company. • Administer SOX, HIPAA, and departmental policies and procedures including the development, implementation, and management of policies and procedures defining departmental development standards and requirements. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of related IT experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
