Job Description

The Mainframe Developer will be responsible for the Design, develop, and maintain mainframe components to meet support or project departments and interface with business and IT teams to understand their business requirements, translating into formal technical requirements and application code. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe components using JCL, COBOL, IMS DB/DC, DB2.
• Support and Maintenance of existing Mainframe application.
• Attend Daily standup call, maintain user story in Rally.
• Work closely with Client in requirement gathering.
• Perform Unit testing and System Integration Testing.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years DB2, Cobol, JCL experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality
• Ability to organize and plan work independently
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
