Relay Graduate School of Education seeks an Adolescent Mathematics Licensure Exam Prep Tutor to support students with teacher licensure exams that assess mathematics content and pedagogical knowledge. The Tutor will work closely with Relay’s licensure exam preparation department to support candidates in our educator preparation programs across the country. This individual will ensure we meet our vision of building a more diverse teacher workforce through the incorporation of a comprehensive student support model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
First and foremost, the tutor must share the Relay community’s commitment to working together to improve student growth and achievement through phenomenal teacher preparation grounded in diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. This includes providing teacher preparation programs that set novice teachers up to succeed in the classroom from day one; leadership programs that train new and veteran school and district leaders to best serve their school communities; and teacher-facing professional education that provides ongoing learning to educators. COMPENSATION
Relay is committed to creating and maintaining a compensation and benefits system that supports our ability to recruit and retain a diverse and talented team. As we make decisions about compensation, we will be guided by the following values: clarity, consistency, and internal equity. This a part-time hourly role with a start date of May 30th 2023 and tutoring between the dates of June 5th 2023 – August 5th 2023. Tutors will be paid an hourly rate of $35/hour.
