Job Description:

As part of the Advantage Dental+ Marketing Department, the Junior Graphic Designer will support Associate Director, Creative Marketing, the marketing team and the broader organization in the creation, production and timely execution of visual communications across multiple channels in both print and digital format. This entry level position is responsible for creating designs according to specifications as well as modifying / enhancing current design assets all while working closely with Associate Director, Creative Marketing to continually improve design strategy and process.

This position requires a keen eye for detail while providing the autonomy to create and use original ideas with the added benefit of learning from key team members.

Junior Graphic Designer is an entry level marketing position with the opportunity to gain hands – on experience and exposure to all aspects of healthcare marketing.  This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, growth-oriented team and potential for learning within a dynamic company.

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Fine Arts, or related field
  • Up to 3 years of working experience as a graphic designer.
  • Design portfolio required including 3-5 samples/portfolio items that display elements both print and digital design.
  • Proficient with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with creative processes
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Project timeline development, risk assessment, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaborative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Must be motivated and highly organized.
  • Must foster a positive team atmosphere.
  • Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary.


  • Ensure that all graphic design work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures Advantage Dental+ brand standards and style guidelines are adhered to consistently.
  • Works in partnership with Associate Director, Creative Marketing to develop, coordinate, edit, and complete assigned projects.
  • Ensures work meets job specifications and branding needs
  • Ensure design timelines are achieved as planned
  • Example work products include, but not limited to presentation decks, direct mail, print and digital promotional campaigns, marketing collateral (including one-page documents, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and social media assets)
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in design solutions, including but not limited to print, digital, web, interactive, social, tablet and mobile environments
  • Working with team to collaboratively identify and implement operational efficiencies related to design strategy and process.
  • Proactively and consistently define and develop process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity across team.
  • Team collaboration and participation in routinely scheduled meetings
  • Other duties as needed or required
