Ergeon is founded by CS Ph.D. serial entrepreneurs Jiayue (Jenny) He and Odysseas Tstatalos. They picked this name to symbolize their joint passion for using tech to revolutionize work.

Overview of the Role

Create technical drawings and visual interpretations of the Ergeon products. The position is long-term and up to full-time, including a mix of SketchUp design and other drafting and modeling tasks. You will be part of the company’s Construction Team, where you will have the opportunity to work on drafting activities to support the representation and selling of Ergeon products. You will have the opportunity to work on a team with people from all over the world and to participate in new projects and initiatives, as we are a growing company.

We are looking for people with experience in modeling, with a keenness for detail. If you know other complex software, like AutoCAD and Photoshop, this position could evolve to include more complex design activities.

Responsibilities

• Design Ergeon products in SketchUp, both 2D and 3D
• Use in-house design tools to produce construction renders.
• Create 3D models of specific construction elements.
• Design exterior blueprints from satellite imagery (Google Earth), using SketchUp.
• Create schematics drawings for the fence offers.

Desired Skills and Experience

Must have

• Design or Architecture fields’ background
• SketchUp Proficiency
• Be able to communicate in English

Nice to have

• D Modeling Proficiency
• Photoshop Proficiency
• Landscaping Design experience

Technical Requirements

Good Laptop setup with Chrome browser

• Minimum of 8GB RAM
• Minimum processor:

Compensation

Hourly salary $3 USD, depending on experience and location.

• Your final compensation will depend on your placement on our Career Ladder and will be calculated hourly.
• You’ll be paid weekly through Upwork (www.upwork.com), the platform we choose to hire and pay our Ergeoneers all over the world.

Location

• This is a 100% remote position, for people located in the countries listed here (Central and South America + Eastern Europe)

Availability

• This position is full-time with expectations of at least 35 hours per week.
• Availability Monday through Sunday with flexible schedule

Bootcamp

• Training period of 2 weeks including: 1-1 sessions, constant mentoring, teamwork, practical use and understanding of our technical tools, and live exercises to develop abilities.
