About the Role:
The Twitch Community Originals team is looking for an experienced Event Production Manager to lead the daily planning, organization and execution of all IRL Twitch Rivals and Twitch Streamer Original events. Reporting to the Head of Production & Events, you will collaborate with team members and vendors to produce in person events across diverse gaming genres and Twitch communities. You will draw from previous work to scale operational solutions in order to help achieve program level goals to engage and entertain communities across Twitch.
You can work remotely in the US for this role.
You Will:
– Project manage event logistics for 3-5 IRL event programs and associated livestream / year
– Build forecasts, budgets and report on actuals against all events
– Manage all vendors and crew necessary for execution against your events
-Work cross-functionally throughout the Twitch business to coordinate relevant work, with emphasis on Business Development, Creative, Analytics, Sales, Customer Trust, Marketing, and Partnerships teams
– Partner with the Product lead + Creative and Executive Producers for Twitch Rivals on all aspects of the events ensuring optimal outcomes within budget
– Lead production calls and identify gaps throughout planning across all event pillars (venue, scenic, event tech, and crew)
– Understand production costs and recommend budget solutions
– Define operational priorities, and improve performance by identifying risks early, planning contingencies, and reacting to issues in real-time

– BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience
– 8-10 years experience in one or multiple areas including: live event entertainment (game shows, concerts), esports or gaming events, creative production, project management, program management
– An excellent budget management track record
– Experience with decision-making in high pressure moments
– Comfort leading cross-functional initiatives and building relationships with various internal and external partners
– Direct experience building gaming events across multiple genres
– Detail oriented, and digs into the details of each project managed
– Familiarity with Twitch, streaming, video games, and internet culture

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $167,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
