Sitting within the Wealth Management area of Equitable, Equitable Advisors is committed to making a difference in the lives of clients. Across the U.S., financial professionals operating under the Equitable Advisors brand engage with individual clients to build relationships focused on helping individuals achieve meaningful financial wellness. In this role, you will join an exciting and growing team of dedicated professionals that focus on Equitable Advisors platform of third-party investment products, advisory solutions, insurance products and retirement plan business. Responsibilities of the Project Manager include: + Owns the product and/or operational aspect of assigned projects, partnering with other key stakeholders to attain the business goals and objectives + Works with stakeholders to generate solutions to business issues and then plans/implements those solutions. + Able to resolve conflicts and complex issues in a cross functional setting. Handle multiple tasks or projects. + Facilitate meeting of peers, enable discussion that leads to resolution and communicate results to management. + Leads the delivery of complex programs and/or projects, which may consist of multiple, smaller projects. + Leads efforts to develop new or revised processes for the assigned business areas. + Develops formal recommendations and presentations for senior management + Able to motivate staff and ensure that proper management practices are adhered to by providing ongoing performance and career discussions, on time completion of relevant people processes, and fostering Diversity and Inclusion. + Comfortable speaking with all levels of the organization, external vendors, and corporate partners + Developing an understanding of specific broker/dealer product offerings. + Understanding and contributing to certain written supervisory procedures (WSPs). + Additional ad-hoc projects as assigned by your leader. The base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $97,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility. Equitable Pay and Benefits: Equitable Total Rewards Program (\_id=A) Qualifications Qualifications: + 8 years of work experience related to Relationship Management responsibilities with investment securities, annuities and/or other financial services products + Undergraduate/Graduate Degree in Business, Finance or a related field preferred + FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred + Broad understanding of project planning & execution methodologies + Experience with successfully engaging with outsourcing arrangements + Strong Microsoft office skills required, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint + Having intellectual curiosity and commitment to expanding knowledge of the investment industry + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines + Strong communication skills Skills required to ensure success include: Business Acumen : Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Products and Services : Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations. Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Teamwork: Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork; experience with; ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels.
