Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in virtualization or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in performing technical presentations or public speaking.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.
  • Experience with containers and associated technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Serverless, and Microservices.
  • Experience in understanding a complex customer’s existing software workload and the ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud reflecting specific customer needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to key customers, helping them understand and utilize Google Cloud Infrastructure as part of their overall cloud strategy by recommending migration paths, integration strategies, and architectural patterns.
  • Demonstrate how Google Cloud is differentiated, highlighting the power of Google Cloud Infrastructure by working with customers on POCs, demonstrating features, optimizing model performance, profiling, and benchmarking.
  • Build repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams.
  • Influence Google Cloud Infrastructure product direction as a trusted representative for both customers and product teams.
  • Travel to customer sites and events as needed.
