Data Strategy Analyst Lead - Remote

As a data strategy analyst lead, youll be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Progressives commercial lines overall data strategy. Youll apply comprehensive analytics, prepare cost-benefit analysis, and ensure data balancing to help define and build new unified commercial lines data platforms. Youll participate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to ensure the data strategy aligns with commercial lines objectives. Youll be the primary commercial lines liaison and the business owner for data strategy proof of concept execution and overall data strategy execution. Youll calibrate intent and viability of data-driven initiatives within the Portfolio Demand Suite (PDS) between technology architecture and business stakeholders. Youll support the development of data governance policies and procedures in coordination with the commercial lines data governance team. Additionally, youll conduct research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices for data management and governance. Remote work allowed

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of seven years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of eight years of analytical work experience

Preferred skills

  • Experience working with SQL, Tableau, Python or Power BI
  • Understanding of emerging cloud technologies and relationship database systems
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office - such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet functionality, including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros
  • Experience influencing leadership decisions, strong prioritization skills, handling multiple projects simultaneously, mentor other analysts, and have strong collaboration and relationship building skills

Compensation

  • $82,400 - $109,900/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
