The Content Marketer will work closely with the entire team to manage projects pertaining to content strategy, social strategy and paid media strategy. This mid-level position reports directly to the Manager, Content Marketing. Responsible for managing, improving and measuring content to achieve Inmar’s business goals. Duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify areas of improvement.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Manage marketing campaigns from ideation to reporting
  • Optimize content according to SEO
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Effectively measure marketing campaign performance
  • Publish, edit and proofread content on inmar.com
  • Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and user’s engagement metrics
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
  • Brainstorm with team members to create new ideas
  • Work with teams to plan and purchase media
  • Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention

Manage and support Corporate Level and Product Marketing Campaigns (50%)

  • Work with cross-functional teams while managing their marketing campaigns from ideation to reporting
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop ideas for relevant campaigns based on products, events and industry trends
  • Support Product Marketing initiatives
  • Drive strategy for new and cutting edge marketing ideas
  • Measure the impact of marketing campaigns

Inmar.com (20%)

  • Work with Corporate Marketing writing team to maintain blog content
  • Upload PR excerpts/press releases
  • Upload Thought Leadership blog content
  • Add meta tags in content management system
  • Build new pages and maintain pages already in use
  • Work with contributors to develop rapid responses
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Provide team with industry research to stay on top of changing platforms, metrics, etc.

SEO (20%)

  • Continue to leverage BrightEdge (SEO platform) to optimize website pages on inmar.com
  • Leverage BrightEdge for keyword research (this can be ongoing with the different BUs and products added to Inmar’s suite)
  • Support Product Marketing team by providing guidance in creating search-optimized content on inmar.com
  • Perform competitive analyses to inform SEO strategies
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with BrightEdge account team
  • Lead SEO-related initiatives for inmar.com
  • Research and stay up-to-date with changes in search algorithms
  • Perform routine Site Audits through BrightEdge and execute any necessary updates

Social Media (10%)

  • Work with other Marketing Managers to develop strategy for Inmar social media channels
  • Update monthly content calendar with business social posts
  • Maintain and update all Inmar.com social media channels
  • Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube

Required Competencies:

  • BS degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML, web publishing , SEO, and web traffic metrics
  • An understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in project management
  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
  • Writing skills and understanding of best practices for lead generation
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing manager
  • Hands on experience with Google Suite
  • Social media skills
