Job Description:

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Temporary Client Experience Sr. Data Analyst to join our team in our Seattle office.

This is a temporary position lasting six months, with potential to convert to a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from our Seattle office.

The Client Experience (CX) Team augments the traditional legal services provided to clients through proactive communication, actionable reporting, and strategic client satisfaction initiatives. This position is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of client-driven, internal, and specialty reports, as requested, to provide high level support for client project teams including attorneys and law firm management. Other tasks include reporting on matter volume and financials, implementing technology tools, creating and maintaining knowledge management resources, and coming up with creative solutions to business opportunities. It requires someone who is highly detail orientated, exercises sound judgment, and possesses strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments.

On a typical day you will:

  • Understand basic law firm economics and pricing, including profitability metrics, timekeeper rates, and matter types (e.g., alternative fee arrangements)
  • Support the legal project managers and client teams in identifying inefficiencies and opportunities to optimize cost management and financial performance
  • Track and manage issues, reporting demands, and other problems presented to the CX Team and collaborate with project leads to produce sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with data engineers and visualization specialists to generate reports on a regular basis, including analytics relating to billed hours, financial performance, and budget tracking
  • Develop clear and compelling insights from various data and deliver those insights to multiple stakeholders with compelling arguments and professionalism
  • Assist in the development, preparation and production of complex reporting required by clients and attorneys, including on individual matters and portfolios of client work
  • Work with CX Team leaders to scope and deliver strategic road mapping for improved analytics and insight offerings to stakeholders and clients
  • Produce recurring internal and external financial reports using a variety of platforms
  • Produce specialty, ad hoc reports as requested by internal stakeholders and CX clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Washington State

The hourly range for this position in Washington is $48.72 to $52.82. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Paid sick leave is accrued on a biweekly basis at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked. Temporary employees working at least 30 hours per week may be eligible for health insurance with an optional HSA, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
