Position Summary

Join one of J. J. Keller’s fastest growing business units as we protect people and the businesses they run! This NEW role is part of our Outsource Services area in Managed Services, where we provide services to help customers manage their safety and regulatory compliance programs. These services are heavily technology-enabled with this development team building internal-facing and external- facing applications to support service delivery.

The purpose of this position is to perform programming support and maintenance of assigned products and services. This includes: analysis, project estimating, design, development/coding, testing and documentation. Primary focus is on resolution of reported issues, small to medium enhancements and assisting with new development.

This role can work 100% remote in the US, on-site at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI or hybrid.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs assigned programming tasks related to new development or maintenance on assigned websites or applications.
  • Analyzes user needs and impact to other site areas to determine technical requirements of assigned tasks.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and estimations.
  • Promotes strong quality practices by performing unit testing and providing appropriate level of support for user acceptance testing, as needed.
  • Maintains accurate technical documentation for assigned programming projects.
  • Acts as a support resource for the technical support staff to ensure that customer-reported issues are being addressed in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Develops and maintains a solid understanding of the technology tools and trends and remains current in new technology developments and their potential impact on the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Prior PC/Internet based software or web development experience required.
  • Development experience with C# and.NET strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Framework, including Web APIs
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Core a plus.
  • Familiarity with Azure Fundamentals a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server or another relational database management system.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in a Computer Science or technology-related field.
  • In lieu of degree, may consider a combination of education, personal projects, and related work experience.

Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $30.30 to $37.85 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location.
