Description:The Lockheed Martin Factory within Enterprise Operations consists of a strong DevSecOps culture. Our skilled engineers have discipline and domain specific experience and training, best in industry development practices and patterns, and cutting-edge tools for design, development, configuration management, quality, security, and deployment.

This is a Full Stack Engineering role focused on developing, modifying, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications in support of the Lockheed Martin Factory. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team focused on designing, developing, and releasing reusable components of a DevSecOps pipeline to be consumed by the enterprise.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications, incorporating agile and DevSecOps methodologies and concepts
  • Active collaboration in a virtual team environment
  • Periodic travel to Lockheed Martin sites may be required, as well as the ability to work in a virtual environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Go
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience developing application interfaces, translations, and transformations
  • Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Experience with version control and repository management tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)
  • Experience using an IDE such as VSCode
  • Willingness to demonstrate your work to leaders and stakeholder as needed

Desired Skills:

  • Full Stack Engineering experience utilizing DevSecOps practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation including, but not limited to, GitLab CI
  • Experience working in a environment
  • Experience with at least one or more web frameworks: Spring, Node.js, Angular
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and development techniques (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as code)
  • Willingness to utilize pair programming and test-driven development processes
  • Experience with working on teams in a geographically dispersed and virtual environment
  • Experience and executing test cases

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $66,500 – $125,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $57,800 – $110,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
