Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : + Developing RESTful micro service architectures for web and application services using virtual instances, load balancing, automated surge capability, and integrated performance monitoring. + Developing applications using NoSQL data management systems and full text searching. + Implementing security controls required by Federal information systems. + Automating application deployments + Supporting development using Agile Scrum methodologies. + Team player willing to work under Senior Software Engineers. + Development using Agile Scrum methodologies. + Knowledge of SAFe + Responsible for taking ownership and driving Pega development stories and tasks to completion each sprint + Experience with creating batch processes for bulk upload and processing. + Experience with integration with external systems + Experience with: Pega 8.X, Pega RPA, SQL, SOAP, REST, Java, HTML Required Certifications: Pega Certified System Architect (CSA); Pega Certified Senior System Architect (SSA) Basic Qualifications: + Experience with Java software development on Linux based systems. + Experience with Unix + Experience developing on Android Smartphones. + Requires 3 to 5 years or more of related experience in software development. Preferred: Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent. + Requires conceptual knowledge of practices and procedures within a particular area of expertise. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with Relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL) + Experience with Linux Systems Security Clearance Requirements: + Applicants MUST HAVE an active SECRET Physical Requirements: + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. + Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. + Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet. + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. + May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility. The projected compensation range for this position is $102,800-$85,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
