Agile Product Owner Director, PBM BPO Department - Work from Home - Express Scripts

Job Description The Agile Product Owner Director, PBM BPO Department - Work from Home - Express Scripts has direct oversight and responsibility for NCPDP Telecommunication standards which includes management, oversight, and implementation of enterprise-wide, xlarge scale cross-functional PBM Operations initiatives. The role will serve as a primary stakeholder to support and implement future versions of the NCPDP Telecommunication standard. This Director BPO role is responsible to drive, and at times serve as the Business Sponsor, for all internal NCPDP Telecommunication compliance projects impacting retail, point-of-sale capabilities. Additionally, this includes but is not limited to monitoring business processes, analyzing claims data, identifying process improvements, and resolving issues that might be impacted via the retail pharmacy experience. This position is also responsible for managing all aspects of a business product operations team including BPO to BPO negotiation for Technology resources, stakeholder support for Enterprise efforts that impact Retail Point-of-Sale Adjudication (Telecom), external switch vendor management, and PBM Operations business expertise to drive flexible and strategic solutions. The role requires the ability to lead, collaborate and coordination with the POS Claims Technical Product Owners (TPO) related to any retail POS adjudication changes, build a synergistic and strategic partnership with technology, while supporting all aspects of the Agile methodology, and assist in making decisions on management of retail POS technical debt in close alignment and coordination with new product support needs, pending and impending Telecommunication changes, and the long term strategic goals for the organization. In addition, this role does require active participation and influencing with a key industry standards organization, NCPDP, via external forums; including Work Groups (WG), Task Groups (TG) and Committees. This would include providing feedback within discussions, offering potential solutions and seeking leadership roles as opportunities arise. Additional responsibilities include: + Work with CTPOs, Delivery Managers, SAs and Technology leadership preparing timelines and deliverables to achieve Supply Chain margin, revenue, or foundational capability goals while addressing obstacles and competing priorities in a timely manner + Directly manage the team to achieve expected deliverables across multiple functions, domains and sub-domains + Ensure appropriate project and development methodologies (e.g. AGILE, SCRUM, etc.) are used with technology partners to structure and manage interdepartmental and intra-departmental initiatives efficiently + Ensure initiative testing plans are effective and complete and support post de-deployment review + Manage all capability backlog prioritization and work + Actively participate in the Adjudication and Capability Summits with Technology to stay abreast of emerging Technologies in order to deliver flexible solutions to the business Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree. Preferred in Pharmacy, Health Care Management or Computer Science + 10+ years of leadership experience + 8+ years of IT experience + 8+ years of PBM experience + Experience with large, cross-functional project management skills + Technology experience or a liaison position that interfaced extensively with Technology + Preferred extensive experience in PBM Operations If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 146,100 - 243,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
